Mike, I bought Gorillas and Kings in November and December of 1999, after having discovered this thread 3 or 4 months before (slow learner). Because my portfolio is taxable, I was "forced" to hold those purchases long enough to read and digest the discussion on this thread of the advantages of LTB&H over other methods of investing. I owe you, Bruce and many others a big debt of gratitude for prying (and I do mean prying) my eyes open during the past several months. I could tell you exactly how big a debt if I went back and compared my portfolio for the 9 months preceding those purchases (during which I traded often) to the 9 months following. In recent months, I have limited my trading $$ to less than 5% of my portfolio. This is my slot machine money, I like the kick even when I lose, gotta admit it.

I am sure that Sunny and I are two among many who feel the same way.

Regards,
Lynn

P.S. Also $0 margin, which was not always the case.
