Just got back to a computer...$57-1/2??? Either AMD is not going to post successive record profits in Q3 (i.e $2.00 plus)and Q4 (i.e $3.00 plus) or people selling at these levels are foregoing (assuming they're mot buying back in later) potentially huge profit possibilities between here and December 31...And yes, I have and would continue to make the same statement at $87-1/2...

Great news on all fronts for AMD for the foreseeable future as AMD is a relatively small company and as such has gobs of upside growth potential...Just caught in the SOX negative slipstream at the moment...When the turnaround takes place, and it will, given my perception of outstanding fundamentals, I won't be surprised by an equal and opposite price ascent...Too much quality future earnings potential here for this "price abuse" for longs to continue much longer...Difficult to see any sunshine given the new near term lows (current $57-1/2...4.14 million shares) being established today, but that usually proves to be a great time to be a buyer...Where the bottom is, we'll find out soon enough, I hope...I just can't rationalize anything under $87 from a company fundamental perspective...unless of course record earnings for Q3 and Q4 are not in the cards...something which I highly doubt is the case!!!
