Northstar, The SOX sure is the most corrupt index on the exchange. There's no logic to it. POS is down 4 today. Last night AMAT said in their conference call repeatedly that there was a major DRAM shortage developing that would hit in the fall. Go back to Q1, DRAM spot prices were falling *EVERY* day, but POS kept making all time highs and missed earnins so badly that they didn't even match the lowest estimate, but it still got an all time high the next day. Who couldn't see this coming? I can't figure out if it's some kind of organized corruption, or if the big money is all just very stupid about semiconductors and trade this thing out of charts and fear and don't give a damn about fundamentals.
