So many comments i could make about lemming behaviour still intact...your post is proof... the reason most companies don't include investment gains in their results from operations IS that these results are not consistently repeatable...sure, this bull market has given dell, msft, intc and others 3-4 Qs of nice investment gains, but this is coming to an end... what will the folks at dell do next year if they have losses in their investment portfolio..??.. 10 bucks says they would seperate these losses from their operating earnings...but since they are gains, they include them... in my book it is close to lying... good luck, steve ps...anyway that the cubbies can get runs is good for me...another year of pain for those of us who worship at Wrigley
