I'm going to have to pound the table on COMS.

I could really end up with egg on my face on this one, but several things stand out in my mind.

1) 3Com remains one of the few tech companies that truly unlocked significant shareholder value as an "incubator" with the Palm spinoff. From start to finish the shareholders interests came first.

2) The company no longer has to worry about getting thrashed by Cisco in high-end networking.

3) 3Com is a back-door DSL play.

4) Oodles of cash, no debt.

5) Management has already set the tone for the next few quarters. The guidance is positive and upbeat.

I think the stock is going to make another big run. It may waddle in the short term but my gut feeling tells me this is going to be a big winner. I continue to be a buyer from the teens to the low 20s.
