You need a technician to come to your apartment building and go to the telephone closet to install some equipment so your line is in sync with the main office. When I had Bell Atlantic DSL, that technician came like at around 1 or 2 pm and didn't leave until 9 pm. Not sure if he knew what he was doing, but he spend hours at my building telephone basement. The self installation kit that Bell Atlantic sends you only covers software and basic hardware installation. Anthony Anthony
