Well, that's fear of mine. If NTAP became dead money it would be more a function of the market then the company. Now why do I say that? If you have been following my post here and there, you would know why I'm about to say the following. I repeat. I fear the market will end up in long (long to me 12 months) sideways movement till investing in naz becomes compelling (right now you can invest in MMM, KO, or GE, three fine world class companies and not have volatility of owning a naz stock, so why bother?)I feel the naz will become compelling again when the broadband promise is built out or it will be sold down to level to where value is seen. I have been walking hoping the infra plays would be a nice place to concentrate, which NTAP is most definitely part of, but the reaction to CSCO earnings is most telling of the over valuation cloud that is still overhanging the naz., so I question that thinking.
