Holiday Inn of North Myrtle Beach Signs Contract With BioFiltration Systems Inc. to Receive Wireless Internet Services

SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 3, 2000--BioFiltration Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:BIFS) announced today that its Technology group Beachaccess.net, a wholly owned subsidiary of BioFiltration Systems, has signed a contract with Holiday Inn of North Myrtle Beach to provide wireless internet services.

This latest contract represents the seventh such agreement to be reached between Beachaccess and major resorts over the past two weeks. Al Keyser, CEO of Biofiltration commented, "I am extremely pleased to see that the popularity of the SWOMI system is continuing within the resort business community and that we are able to secure so many significant agreements in such a short period of time. We plan to continue our marketing efforts in this arena and I believe that agreements such as these will not only provide our company with recurring revenue, but allow us to strategically position our telecommunications infrastructure along our targeted market corridor. Al Keyser further commented on the recent developments, stating, "To my knowledge, we are the only company offering T1 equivalent speed through a wireless Internet infrastructure using a patented seamless roaming process. And I believe that this has greatly contributed to the appeal of the system to the resort owners and their customers. The Beachaccess marketing team is presently exploring other potential markets for this technology and is actively engaged in the development of a revised business plan to reach as many customers as possible with this technology".

Jay Knabb, CEO of Beachaccess commented that, "we are continuing to explore leading edge applications of this technology such as internet based television programming, internet based pay per view services, and two way video telephony to make our services bundle even more attractive to potential customers. We are currently demonstrating these capabilities to potential clients in our experimental market area." Mr. B.U. Patel, owner of Holiday Inn commented, "After seeing it with my own eyes, the potential of this technology to provide service to my customers was very obvious. By adopting this new wireless internet method in place of the older technology, the Holiday Inn can reduce its cost for upgrading traditional telephone services from the local phone company to provide internet access, while offering even better services to its guests."
