The problem with that sort of approach is that I, the analysts, and the market in general have a serious problem whenever a company's actions smack of stock manipulation (except, perhaps, when inteL is the "perp".) I think we will just have to let the current excesses play out. The real key may be consistent earnings and cash flow performance. This, unfortunately, could easily take another quarter or two, even in the best of cases. I have trouble seeing less than $1.50 of real taxed (@ 20%) earnings in the current quarter, though $1.60 to $1.75 is very possible despite the fact that we find ourselves in the midst of what is traditionally the worst quarter of the year for the industry. AMD is expanding its market share of expanding high margin businesses.

If you believe what the company releases, it, AMD, could easily earn at least $2.00/share in the quarter ahead. Nobody (ie the market in general) wants to believe what is obvious to many of us on this thread. Those are the kind of market inefficiencies that the greatest of opportunities are constructed.

STAY TUNED!!!!!!!

Patient Regards,

DARBES
