Russ - a quick examination of the numbers shows that CPQ grew server revenue at a faster pace than DELL - perhaps MUCH faster. DELL danced around server growth but given that they increased server sales as a portion of revenue by less than 1%, I suspect they were at about 25% revenue growth. The fact that they got a 300% growth in rack-mounted servers but only 25% in servers overall says that they actually lost share in the rest of the server line. Given CPQ's server results, the inevitable conclusion is that they lost those sales to CPQ.
