And if it is the premise of this thread that they hurt more often then help .........I also concur. Interesting that we give them such power........I suspect that evolutionary forces were at work....That is early humanoids needed law to enforce the co-operation that was so essential for our success. Religion was this law. Judgement,punishment, by a angry god the court system. This could explain the apparent need for some sort of spiritual meaning in our lives.
