On the 5 cents versus 3 cents, isn't the $125 million pre-tax? So after-tax its about $87.5 million, divided by diluted shares outstanding yields 3.2 cents.

Or, am I handling taxes wrong?

Plus, as mentioned, the $125 million is the same as for the first quarter. The sequential picture on operating income seems important, growth of 5.4% in net revenues is not bad for Dell when going from q1 to q2, plus improvement in margins. Growth in eps sequentially was not due to financing and other income.
