Cowgirl, you may already know this but thot I'd pass it along. I was told that you have to replace your surge protector if it takes a hit. It is designed to save you once only then a new one is needed. Same thing happened to me a while back but blew two of my Puters...seems the SURGE was TOO great for what I had. boohoo. Oh well, all is fixed now and workin ok. best regards, Depy
