The truth is that Dell people have excuses for everything, but they keep prmising. The truth is that for Dell the time has passed. They "maybe" in a worse shape than CPQ. At least CPQ is one of the majors in Europe, Asia, and South America, and the have the service end that Dell lacks. No doubt one day they will bounce back, but they will never again can come up with the business model that they enjoyed in 90's! The are just another box-maker. I hate to say these words, as I own Dell, and I will not short my stocks, but I don't see any why out for Mr. Dell. Unless Dell COmputer is merged or taken over by another company!! Is that a possiblity??? Remember these words!! GGG
