Tony, RE: AMAT's the undisputed freakin' leader in their field, though, with no slipups. What's up with that? The C word (cycle) I guess. I prefer to think of it as the V word (valuation). The stocks that are cheaper on an absolute basis seem to be holding up, such as IBM. That doesn't explain the problems over at AMD, but they're in a league all their own. And I can't help but think oxymoron when I hear 'AMD' and 'value' in the same sentence, no matter what the PE is.
