I am not a TA expert by any means. I just use major indicators such as trendlines, 20,50,200 DMA's, volume etc.

I don't use these fancy stochastic, RSI baloney methods.
People are starting to say that the oscillator this or RSI that or stochastic or whatever indicates something. Hogwash!

Go back and check this thread a week or so ago when someone said that some snazzy indicator (I don't even remeber the type) indicated a sell signal. DDIM was 26 or 27 or something. (I really don't recall) All I know is it went to 32 1/2 after that.

To answer your question about sell signals if it hits the MA. If it bounces off it and holds that is a buy signal. If it pierces it and can't snap back above it is a sell. BTW, I am not saying that DDIM will hit these moving avgs. It could hold at 27-28 for example. I just think that it is a good calculated risk to buy when it pulls closer to these averages. If you look at a chart it is easy to tell that it was getting extended from the base that it formed in April and it is far off it's moving avg. I expect a little consolidation.
