WAL is a count of the stocks in the Weighted Action List report that lists those issues that have fired buy or sell signals, and are confirmed by the price-phase indicator and weighted according to Positive Volume indicator and Negative Volume indicator. A high net positive count indicates buys confirmed by momentum. The US is a count of stocks in the Upside and Downside Expert Rating reports. Rules that trigger signals include Stochastics cross, EMA cross, Money Flow index cross, price-OBV and MF divergences, and so on. A high count such as 80-20 indicates 80 percent longs versus short.

I have strong sell signals, 95 or above, on the indexes from mid July. Last week, had several weaker sell signals of 92, 93, and 94 on Dow and Nasdaq.

I use the universe count for extremes which works well except when the market splits as has happened on occasion the last two years.
