ktcougar: In response to your post #31805:

The stats from KOPN's last earnings report are as follows:

revenue increased 183% vs. same period 1999, 24% sequentially over Q1 2000

net income increased 68% sequentially over Q1 1000

revenue for gallium Arsenide (gaAs) heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBT) chips products increased 199% vs. Q2 1999, rose 19% sequentially from Q1 2000.

Cyberdisplay revenue increased 258% from Q2 1999, rose 69% sequentially from Q1 2000.

It is the latter metric that I think tells the tale with KOPN. Their cyberdisplay products are growing at an astonishing rate. Even if their chip sales in the third quarter are flat, I believe that the flat-panel display products will rapidly become their main revenue source. I am not concerned about short-term with KOPN as I bought this for a 6-12 month hold. I think KOPN is a great play for the Q4 Holiday season, when products with these miniature flat-panel screens will be selling briskly. Only risk with KOPN is whether they can ramp up production to meet the demand for their product.

Good luck with your investments.
