Good luck with your surgery. Mine went well and I would have been 100% by now had I not broken the only rule the doctor gave me last winter. He said don't slip on the ice. Wouldn't you know it, about a month later, I was doing great in therapy, came out of an office door and hit a patch of black ice and twisted the knee. The Air Force is giving me the Clinton budget saver run around again and I can't get a follow up. It is stable so I don't think I ruined the ACL graft but the Menniscus is all tore to shreds, I can fell it grind. Hopefully a quick scoping will fix it someday.

Just remeber to use the cryo cuff they give you soon as you get home. I was so groggy, I didn't understand or even know I had written instructions until two days after the surgery. I didn't ice it for the whole 48 hours and the resulting swelling set me back about a week in my recovery time.

I won't lie, it is worse than a scope job but after the first week, it gets better quick. The therapy will help it also. I didn't want to believe them and thought they were just trying to torture me but the movement helps.

Good Luck,

Lee
