Friends, this is just to tell you why i'm not replying to PM's, em's, anything.

Had emergency admission to the hospital. Spent 3 days on an IV morphine drip. Got steroid shots in my spine. Thosehaven't kicked in yet. I sure hope they will soon.

Came home yesterday with RX's, but clearly not enough, as the pain came back with a vengeance at 2 am. Now on oral morphine around the clock, on top of which they have prescribed Percocet, two of them, ever two hours. The moral of this story is, when you are in bad pain, keep moaning the words "Pain Management Specialist, Pain Management Specialist," and do not rely on your regualr doctor.

Within minutes, I will be incoherent but, presumably, in less pain, so i'm hurrying to get this posted.

For some reason I am still unsure of what I have, though i've had xrays, cat scans, and an mri. It has soemthing to do with an earlier disc problem. someonw may know, just not me, or N, either. Maybe N even knows. All i know is that this isn't fun.

Nobody call, please. Poor N.

Everythinhg does pass eventually, i udnerstand.
