Sunsets have always rung the "Wow look at that" bell in my book. Clear nights in the country with lots of stars and a full moon do it too.

question: how does one find what it is that makes them happy?

I think a good start would be to look at everything one can look at and experience everything one can experience .... and not shy away from things because you perceive that you may not like it.

Besides the great Schlitz commercials of the 70's, there was the Alka Seltzer commercial: "Try it You'll Like it."

Their message was negative; try different foods and you'll feel sick. I think the real message in those words is that before the "like it" comes the "try it." Because you just never know.
