Mere Speculation: FIDO is more powerful than the MOB. They and their senators write the securities laws. Laws that allow them to buy puts before they unload a boatload of shares.

This isn't the 1st time Vinik and FIDO have acted in tandem to dump a boatload of shares of SNDK.

THey like to do it after the annual March SEC reporting deadline.

Wondering Out Loud: Does Fred Barbash of The Washington Post have connections to Vinik and FIDO?

More Rants: What was FIDO's role in the crash of 87? What do the history books say? Is Lehman a research arm for FIDO? What was that lame excuse The WSJ gave about Niles not carrying over his Strong Buy on SNDK when he left Roby?
WOuld it have looked worse if Niles had given his strong buy at the same time FIDO was dumping a boat load of shares?

A sinking tide lowers all the boats.

Where does FIDO make it $. Can you say Margin Interest?

Form PRE 14A for SANDISK CORP filed on Mar 24 2000

Why does SNDK get away with posting month old % ownership info in its proxies?

More Rants: It must be nice being FIDO and an Insider and not having to file 144's.
