LP, I can't say I'm as interested in your cut-and-paste disquisitions on insider trading as you are. Suffice it to say that you are misinterpreting a lot of words, backpedaling at about 60 miles an hour, and don't really have a clue as to what is or is not insider trading. You don't really understand what Cady, Texas Gulf Sulphur and Chiarella are about, but I'm not terrifically interested in wasting the bandwidth to edify you, since you'd rather not listen. Suffice it to say that XYZ's engineers doing their own thing, their own research, before ABC comes on the scene, are entitled to their own opinion, and probably have a 1st amendment right to publish it in any forum they wish. It ain't ABC's privileged, material nonpublic information. Sorr-o, but if you think so, you are simply jagging off. (I am a licensed attorney; specialty--securities law.) Let's now move on beyond the straw men and the hypotheticals and back into crummy companies where we can make a buck.
