Richard Thomas (John-Boy) Celebrates "The Waltons Week" with TNN Aug. 28 - 31
Vote for Your "Favorite" Waltons Episode Beginning Aug. 23

Glance back in time with acclaimed actor Richard Thomas, John-Boy on The Waltons, when he visits with TNN for Waltons Week, Aug. 28-31.
Richard Thomas, the talented actor who portrayed John-Boy on The Waltons, joins TNN in saluting one of America's favorite families during "The Waltons Week," Monday, Aug. 28 - Thursday, Aug. 31. On Tuesday, Aug. 29, TNN telecasts the "Top 10" episodes of the series. Viewers will have the chance to vote for their favorite out of the "Top 10" on country.com between Wednesday, Aug. 23 and Tuesday, Aug. 29. Voters must cast their votes by 7 p.m. on Aug. 29.

During the theme week, TNN will present the documentary The Life and Times of the Cast of the Waltons, movies and episodes of the Emmy-winning series.

In "A Walton Wedding" (1995) Monday, Aug. 28 (8 p.m. - 10 p.m. ET/PT), John-Boy (Richard Thomas) moves to New York to pursue his dreams and becomes engaged to Janet (Kate McNeil), the daughter of an U.S. Ambassador. Members of the bride's family discover they have much in common with the down-to-earth folks on Walton's Mountain.

On Tuesday, Aug. 29, (9 a.m. - 7 p.m. ET/PT), TNN telecasts the 10 Waltons episodes viewers can choose between as their "favorite." Votes will be counted on country.com until 7 p.m. ET/PT, then the winning episode is revealed.

TNN presents The Life and Times of the Cast of The Waltons (7 p.m. - 8 p.m. ET/PT); repeats Thursday, Aug. 31 (11 p.m. - midnight ET/PT). This documentary features highlights from the series, as well as biographies of many of the actors who brought the Walton family to life, including Richard Thomas (John-Boy) and John Ritter (Rev. Matthew Fordwick).

In A Wedding on Walton's Mountain (1982) on Wednesday, Aug. 30 (7 p.m. - 9 p.m. ET/PT), the upcoming marriage of Erin (Mary McDonough) to Paul Matthews Northridge (Morgan Stevens) is called into question, when her old boyfriend Ashley Longworth (Jonathon Frakes) arrives back on Walton's Mountain and tries to recapture her heart. The "The Pony Cart" (10 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. ET/PT) and "The Ceremony" (11 p.m. - midnight ET/PT) are also telecast.

The Decade of The Waltons (1985) highlights memorable moments from the series on Thursday, Aug. 31 (8 p.m. -10 p.m. ET/PT) from John-Boy's (Richard Thomas) first love to Grandpa Walton's (Will Geer) death. Earl Hamner Jr., the creator and narrator of the series, hosts as fans take a look back over 10 years of episodes.

"The Quilting" (2 p.m. ET/PT) -- Mary Ellen is determined not to participate in what she considers an insulting custom.

"The Shivaree" (3 p.m. ET/PT) -- Wedding plans for Olivia's cousin go awry.

"Grandma Comes Home" (4 p.m. ET/PT) -- Ellen Corby's courageous return after her real-life stroke.

"The Calf" (5 p.m. ET/PT) -- John announces the family calf must be sold to make ends meet.

"The Rebellion" (6 p.m. ET/PT) -- Olivia is bored with her life.
