It was a stinker, alright. A lot of thoughts come to mind, in no particular order:

This was Ruiz at his best, and I'm thinking that he'd have his hands full with Chris Byrd or Orlin Norris.

What was it with Evander? Caution, fear, pain/something physical, or the realization that unless he got knocked down - and probably only if he got KO'ed - he weren't going to lose this fight? And why didn't he take the third round KO over Ruiz practically arrived with a carrying handle and rolling wheels?
