What is going on with Alcatel with respect to DSL chipsets? They have been the market leader. I have heard that they may be withdrawing from making their chipsets. I find it hard to believe, but if true, why would that be? I know they are involved in the ASAMs, the Fiber Remote deployment as well as CPE. If I'm not mistaken there's a unit inside AMD that makes the majority of their chipsets. There's even been some talk that this unit might be spun off. amd.com Pat
