Good buying action today to close. 2300 @ 37 3/4, 5000 @ 37 7/8, 1000 twice at $38...so on. It is possible some shorts are looking for greener pastures, but more likely the buying appeared to be legitmate trades toward the long side. The last two trades at $37 1/2 were "bait" (as I call it anyway) of 200 shares and 100 shares, both sells. But, the prior 15 trades were all buys. Shorts like to get the last trade in - just like getting in the last word in a conversation - whoever gets the last word in wins the following day (or increases their chance of winning). Even while Dow was slumping, Radisys was being bought. Very good.
