Re: the specter of OEM's steering their business to licensed MM's How about the spector of OEM's buying a commodity product that is less expensive from companies that were smart enough to avoid increasing their costs with payments for bogus patents? The OEM's aren't going to know or care which chips are from rambus blackmail victims, they are going to buy the ones that are less expensive. Another reason why no company currently competitive in the DRAM market is agreeing to rambus's nonsense - they want to stay competitive in the memory business. Dan
