No, but I happen to think that dell execs have done a poor job to investors since jan 1999, by overpromising and under-delivering consistently.... (since then)
I am not sure, but I might buy some dell & sell in the 50's again, but I no longer trust management (see above)
Also, I am tired of ssing exuberant dell investors THINK that the storage, Unix, & Linux markets will be the next area for dell to crack, as if it's goinfg to be easy
Displacing sun, emc, ntap as the "experts" in their fields is not a trivial thing , so much so that investors in this hyper-efficient box assembler will find out in the future
That's all.
Dell has a lot of things going for it, but a realistic assessment, and not thread hype & B.S. is what I would like to see.
Take care Jean
P.S. Yes, I was happy to see though that dell DID NOT mend their ways, and over-promise/under-deliver AGAIN. As I predicted last week, before earnings...
What will it be next quarter, "component" shortages, or another earthquake rattling the companie's crystal ? This time is NOW for not more B.S. and RESULTS !
I hope, for all investors sake in this company, that they can deliver in the next 2 quarters... |
