What you say is true as long as the spouse lives in the US.
Out of US, no longer subject to US law.
With the majority of Americans not wanting HONEST,
efficient government,[ How can a LIAR even get 50% of the vote in an honest society?], why live here any longer?

Historically, the US has had a strenth of not tolerating corruption as much as other countries; this has changed so that other countries are tolerating less as we embrace more.
Raise your right hand and lie has become the norm here.

The US legal system is becoming more corrupt every year.
Whole segments of society and business have restuctured to become more efficient. Not government; why does it take 2 years for a divorce, child custody case, tax case, antitrust?
People would not let an MD take two years to do surgery,a mechanic keep their car for 2 years,or wait two years for an order to come in from a supplier. LAWYERS make money by being inefficient and making the laws so complex no one can stay out of trouble if anger is aroused by any party; too easy to file a lawsuit and get a low IQ jury to award for SYMPATHY reasons.

At least we still have options; if they won't pass a flat simplified code, you can leave still.

Don't trust the spouse idea?;then make a foreigner the "owner" of your assets in agreement to take care of you in your old age. You trade his assets with power of attorney
while he pays no US taxes. You can live and work in his home, drive his car, etc.
Meanwhile here they are always debating this and that; 401k,IRA,Roth, always a new Gimmick subject to change.

Sure there is a risk to trusting a foreigner;probably a lot less than a lying President or do good congressman[most of whom are attorneys who want to keep changing the tax laws]or US spouse for that matter.

Many poor people in foreign countries who are more deserving than the freeload constituency the Dems favor for votes. Think of the Really Good foreign aid this would create instead of money flowing to corrupt politicians elsewhere[they get our foreign aid now].

The internet will foster more creativity; you just have to be certain of finding the legal loophole to do it; Clinton Gore will have the law changed and you put in jail rather than embrace a flat tax.

Regards,
Anyer
