Why are we waiting for an OEM to "design in" a large format battery for laptops? What precludes VLNC from designing either a replacement brick or better yet an add-on unit a la Electrofuel. Certainly we can manufacture, repackage and market a large footprint unit that would rest under the laptop case and do so for less than the $500 that Electrofuel is charging. This would at least accomplish getting the battery into the market place thereby adding credibility that VLNC can produce a large format cell and perhaps stimulate OEM's to design in the battery.
