Hi Ray,

My current three contract for covered calls are the TECD June 30s. They were selling pretty high recently when the volatility helped spike the premium. So, depending on when you sold the covered calls this would be the best time to cover them while the prices are down and you can lock in a small profit.

I'm holding off writing anymore covered calls until the stock starts it's rise as we approach the earnings report date of Thursday, May 29, 1997.

As far as TECD earnings for this past quarter? The street expects .36 cents per share. I think that will be a piece of cake for TECD to surpass this time around. The European operations in France and the South American business should be very good considering that the US dollar has been devalued in recent months. That alone should enhance an increase in sales in those countries. I noticed this recent SEC filing for enhancement of their banking structure at stocksmart.com

Here is the proxy information as presented to the shareholders and filed at SEC sec.gov

Today was a down day for all the markets and TECD closed unchanged even after yesterday's flush. That's a pretty good sign to me! Those PUTS should start to be cashed in and the beginning of a "short squeeze" in the TECD price should start the rebound. There are no reasons why this stock is down so much.

If they are smart, they should at least announce the vote to split around the TECD earnings report date. That would turbo charge a good earnings report and get the price back up to the $36 level.
