Re Geltech (from their website): Second Quarter Telecom Sales Up 222 %
Telecom Revenues Continue Surge To Record Levels

ORLANDO, FL.- (July 26, 2000) Geltech, Inc. announced today continued growth in the company's telecommunications business. Second quarter telecommunication revenues grew 222% over same quarter of 1999 and were 33% higher than the previous quarter. Telecom sales represent approximately 50% of the company's core business in molded glass optics, diffraction gratings and lens arrays.

This surge in Geltech's revenue come from strong demand in the company's molded glass aspheric collimators and initial deliveries of its recently launched lens arrays and diffraction gratings. "Our telecom customer base has grown significantly, many of these companies are industry leaders. Over the last year many of our products have been in qualification and we are now starting to see production orders. We have a large number of diffraction grating customers who are in development and a substantial customer has recently qualified Geltech's gratings. With DWDM channel counts increasing rapidly, many customers are looking for a cost-effective platform. Our StableSilâ„¢ fits nicely in this scenario," said Edward Patton, Vice President Sales and Marketing.

Geltech, Inc. is an advanced optical component manufacturer with headquarters in Orlando, FL and production facilities in Orlando and Auburn, CA. The company's proprietary technologies for precision micro-optics offer a range of solutions to today's challenges in telecommunications, machine vision and data storage. The company was recently cited as one of Inc. Magazine's 500 fastest growing private companies and can be found at geltech.com.
