I wonder if any of you have any thoughts on brcm becoming an acquisition target for someone. NewPort shows csco and jdsu as large customers. csco always buys it's way into a new field as they are starting to do in optics. jdsu seems to acquire everything as well. I am an sdli holder and thought they would stay independent for a long time but look what happened. It seems to me that the more brcm moves into optics the more likely they are to be taken over. JMHO. Ken
