Sensar (SCII): The Technology--> It’s a FLOOR WAX, but wait, IT’S A DESERT TOPPING TOO!!!!
Under the heading of “life is stranger than fiction” comes the parade of new awesome, “real soon now” global crushing technology wonder-companies. With massive campaigns of super double secret technologies first disclosed to the general public through anonymous altruistic Yahoo posters. So many of these tinniest gems of companies, proclaim that they will soon deploy the wonder-technology that will change the world. As many a guy has failed in the attempt, the marvel of cut glass, those similar enough in many respects, simply don’t make the grade with the fair damsels of the world. Likewise in technology there is the VHS and the BetaMax, as Highlander says, “There can be only one!” With many of these companies, they are trying to compete with BetaMax, when in reality the world is all using VHS.
So again we walk over to the star of the show, the “Story Stock” Sensar (SCII).
As the chitty-chitty chatter of the Yahoo Boards and Clubs love to explain, the technology of the SCII will soon be the global dominator of all things wireless. Amazing how these techno-marvels can have such incredible technology after less than 1 year in existence. Posters on Yahoo unbounded by the rules of economic physics proclaim in ho hum fashion that rumors tell….shhhhhhhhh, oh yes that the word is…. promise not to tell now, do ya promissssseesseeeeses me??????
Okay, you are in, but don’t tell your friends.
The marvelous flat-earther posters of Yahoo proclaim that SCII refused the 4 Billion Dollar (US dinero), from AT&T messages.yahoo.com
Remember, that after the Merger, SCII will have over 40+ Million shares outstanding. Currently the company is less than a year old (Net2Wireless), with no sales. So we all can understand why AT&T was told to take a hike. Ummmm excuse me for a second... Okay I am back...no wait, I can not take it.....back again....dang my eyes are tearing up hold again…Okay I can maintain now! Yes! Rejecting the phantom offer from AT&T was wise, prudent, and realistic....sorry excuse me again....
And so it goes with wonder stocks in the year 2000.
So lets take a look at the technology. Just what is this SCII pipe-dream???
The Tech: What is it?
Let’s take a gander at the net2wireless.com web site. Ah interesting-- “Net2Wirless Product:The explosion of Internet usage for e-commerce and instant information requirements has created new opportunities for Datalink.net. The company offers enterprise-level products to make wireless enablement of Web sites and corporate intranets a reality. The Datalink.net e-commerce products
WAIT----HOLD ON---Big Mistake, this is not the SCII Net2Wirless company, its some other unrelated company in the same sector. Again this is not the SCII company.
Okay got the site now its net2w.com , not nearly as nice, but this is right one. The site is not keep up to date, with very old news, broken and empty links, all this for a near 1 billion dollar market Capitizalized wonder company. Sure make me wonder…ooops I digress. Okay I found the description of the technology. I will copy it here: -----------------================--------------------========== This unique data compression technology with dynamic bandwidth will allow the cellular operator to provide the following services over Net2Wireless Wireless Application Servers (WAS): Wireless Internet. - Powerful and smart wireless proxy, supporting full standard HTML, graphics, voice and video, providing complete web browsing with full duplex graphics. The subscriber can surf faster than via a connected line through the cellular network, on his PDA's, smart phones, notebook, etc. without having to make any changes on the existing Internet site. The wireless handheld devices use a standard browser. Wireless E-Mail - Two-way real time e-mail compatible with e-mail protocols including attachment support. The subscriber will receive any e-mail on his wireless handheld device. Wireless Unified Dynamic Storage and Messaging - Private and public dynamic storage, fully encrypted with push technology. This server allows allocation of various sizes of storage per subscriber for personal use. It can store and manage video, audio, graphics, music, etc. and only the specific subscriber can access his private dynamic storage. Wireless Streaming Video/Audio - Full multimedia content, allowing the subscriber to watch in real time and offline, streaming video and audio, on the wireless handheld/mobile devices. Wireless Instant Messaging - The Instant Messaging WAS can support message sending and multi-user chat for Wireless to Wireless, Wireless to Internet and Internet to Wireless. Instant Messaging WAS turns any handheld device into a wireless Instant Messaging Communicator with a buddy list. Wireless Data Streaming - Wireless data streaming of sports, stock, news, weather, etc. Wireless Entertainment - Uses push technology for offline music download from the Internet. Wireless Corporate Solutions - The Wireless Corporate Solution extends the corporate intranet network to be a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for its mobile users. -----------------================--------------------========== Whoa, that sounds pretty spiffy alright. But it seems to be for a set of technologies TheTruthSeeker has heard of before, not in Beta Test form, but in “buy it, use it today, upgrade it if you like it” form. Hmmmmmmm.
But nevermind, this is a wonder stock, a stock of massive proportions.
It could even be a world-class globally diversified category killer, with out of the box paradigm shifting, enabiling technologies that have crossed the bridge to the 21rst century. It could be.
No, I am not be sarcastic. Really. I mean, I found 3 of these companies just last week, making a total of 42 paridigm-shifters within the last 60 days, these wonder companies are rare gems alright.
From the S4s: THIS THING WILL COST A LOT “The switch, or server, employed by Net2Wireless currently has limited capacity for subscribers or registered users. Therefore, significant investment in equipment and real estate is required in order to roll out a large scale system.- The large investment being made by various equipment vendors in WAP-based technology will make them reluctant to adopt this new standard.”
OOOPS NO CDMA (the Qualcomm Standard protocol)
“There are a number of wireless technologies currently in use. Currently, Net2Wireless' only product is in beta testing and is designed to work with global system for mobile communications, or GSM, a wireless protocol that is used in Israel and Europe. If the beta test is successful, Net2Wireless will need to complete the development of this platform, as well as develop products for other wireless protocols, including the dominant systems used for digital cellular mobile networks in North America, code division multiple access, or CDMA, and time division multiple access, or TDMA. In addition, there are many unique wireless protocols based on these general standards and many operating systems, which are unique to individual carriers. Integration with different systems can be a long and costly process. There can be no assurance that the combined company will be able to successfully complete the development of its GSM platform or develop additional products compatible with other platforms. Even if it successfully completes these products, there can be no assurance that the combined company will be able to successfully recover its development costs for any particular system.”
NO PATENTS While several press reporters and tons of message board posters proclaim the virtues of the patented wonder-technology of Net2Wireless/SCII it simply is not true according to the company through its SEC docs.
Net2Wireless has filed two patent applications and anticipates seeking patent protection for other aspects of its technology that may be patentable. Until patents are actually issued, of which there can be no assurance, Net2Wireless will not be able to determine the full extent of the protection they may afford. The effectiveness of all of the above protections varies from country to country and may not adequately protect Net2Wireless' rights. If Net2Wireless cannot adequately protect its technology, other competitors could potentially use the intellectual property developed by Net2Wireless to their own competitive advantage.
So this means that any company can backward build and use any technology of SCII, if they indeed have it. In the area of compression and storing data on servers, the amount of patent protection is not great. And in TheTruthSeeker opinion, data compression is very mature, what the next critical level is, is to enable compression and methodologies to send data down standard twisted pair telephone lines, and this is a completely different animal. The radio spectrum is not going to change, and if it does it’s a different frequency, and another billion-dollar license to the government.
From the S4/A second version: There is a nice simple table that explains the above.

WHOA WAIT A SEC… the bulb just went on…this looks like its comprises a simple cellular phone modem to access the internet. The kind I can go to Radio Shack and pick up today. The kind that SCKT makes for Microsofts Pocket PC line. Lets springboard over there.
Sure enough, here is what the Nation wide sprint offers, at a quite respectable 14.4K speed s6.sprintpcs.com
Here is a FAQ for that Service s6.sprintpcs.com
So TODAY, in every major city in the United States, I have the same service as the wonder company SCII says I they, some day in the future can provide. Sure they tout this streaming data feeds.
Napster and MP3 are all the rage on the Internet today. Mobile users must want this too, imaging being able to walk around and listen to music that you want to. DUHHHH.
ITS CALLED RADIO, and its already quite popular. Or MP3 players. For normal web page viewing with inline images turned off, you would be surprised just how very very usable 14.4K. Certainly any stocks or chat, or emailing will be handled easily.
Remember, this is AV AILABLE TODAY. I could go on to other cellular carriers by why, they do the same or better.
A company call Socket Communications (SCKT) out of Silicon Valley also has a solution that seems to conform to all of what Net2wireless aspires to be. Here are some real world current reviews for their products, which are shipping today, and are not Vaporware.

Generically Here is a list of Wireless Modem providers which will give you full internet access….wirelessly
But the TheTruthSeeker is also aware of another company, which seems to be the exact dreams of SCII but is light-years ahead of them.

****************************************** Okay the Big Summary:
What we have here is a failure to communicate! SCII portrays itself as the next hot item. Many message board posters believe all sorts of things are going to happen. Miracles and amazingly large Market capitalization, and rejected offers of buyouts. For the most part the bogus information by Message Board posters is sheer hype. (Note:
TheTruthSeeker is even in awe of some of the serious sounding posts proclaiming 400 Billion Market cap within 12 months.
To understand what the technology is we look at the S-4 filing. We see that SCII has no patents, it will be a costly implementation, and that the service itself is not for cell phone, but for cell phone carriers. Now looking at cell phone carriers we see that they already provide modem access for devices such as PDAs and laptops. These will provide the services that SCII says they will offer. We also see that SCII has no products for the predominant CDMA standard, and test are still very much in Beta.
We go to their web site and see a picture of a Palm with the Internet, but as we have shown a new Goliath is in the making with OmniSky. (A Palo Alto Silicon Valley firm) They have the partnership and the technology to provide today full access to the web through a PDA. omnisky.com
With all of this its really hard to see the excitement around SCII. Its hard to see what market the really have. It hard to see the SCII technology, which remains largely under wraps. There is not even and screen shorts of projected data look and feel. How far along can they be in this Beta program? At the current price of SCON this sub one year company will have a market cap of 900 million right out of the shoot. Many of the options fully vested and are usable right away.
For SCII the TheTruthSeeker must appraise it a Would not recommend to my Mother (stable investor) Would not recommend to my Brother (young risk taking day trading)
SCII remain a dangerous play, and if this merger, which is approaching one full year since first announced, falls through for any reason, holders of SCII will have a stock worth about 1 dollar.
As always keep seeking the truth...its out there...hidden sometimes...but its out there
