I hear you Trev , but realistically , I think the game is over:

1. WSP has agreed not to solicit bids (i.e. the "data rooms" are closed).

2. DB has the right to match any competing bid - this is a killer (who would spend $$ to make a competing bid when DB's can simply match).

3. WSP mgmt have agreed to tender and DB's has a break-up fee.

IOW , IMO a competing bid between now and the 25th , while not impossible , is extremely unlikely.
