Re: On IBM. I like the image of the elephants and the mice as an image of IBM. It takes a lot of pressure to turn the direction of the elephants, but from time to time they turn the mice loose to get things done. And to torture the metaphor to it's conclusion, when you mix elephants and mice in the same cage (company) the mice tend to make the elephants very nervous and in the end get stomped to death (either on purpose or by accident) even when the elephants have the very best intentions to start with.
