I mean this in the kindest way possible but IMO there's only one thing crazier than doing it and that's worrying about somebody else doing it. Trying to figure out from peoples actions why they're doing what they're doing will drive you to drink or crazy or both UNLESS you have a very good source of information. If you've read the thread this morning you will know that I don't think the fireworks are over yet, because I've said so. I do not have any information to that effect either priveleged or otherwise. It's just a gut feel. The only sensible course of action is to be ready to tender since that represents the rock bottom condition for us all AT THIS MOMENT, and to wait for some days to see if the limiting conditions might change. I prefer to have the shares in my possession while I wait. Other people seem to think they only have to say please to get them back from DeBeers after tendering. My philosophy is that if you don't take unnecessary risks they can't go bad on you by accident or design. The other thing that occurs to me is that professional traders such as Brokers pay little commission any time, and may just be scalping pennies becasue that's what they do. Hope that helps a litle.
