mishedlo... I think it means that since Hitachi and Rambus have come to an agreement to compensate Rambus in a manner that is agreeable to all parties involved then there is no reason to pursue the complaint. In effect the matter is resolved between them and they have no further need of the ITC in this matter. I would assume that new lawsuits by Rambus will start a new chain of similar action against the infringers if the matters are not resolved. We will now see what happens with Infineon. Rambus gaining in after hours after this news. So it must be regarded as good news. JMHO... BWDIK
