The Nike news reinforces the notion that flash cards are the ideal storage for music and other files that active, athletic people might want to use. In other words, you can't hurt these devices when engaging in pretty serious exercise, like running, rowing, etc. The Nike trademark lets everyone know that here is a product for the energetic types, whether they be top athletes or just generally active people. This kind of news helps differentiate flash memory from cheaper devices, such as the Microdrive. How long is a Microdrive or Cliq drive going to last in a device carried by runners? Art
