WorldCom's press release: wcom.com Wasn't Memphis the home of the now-defunt Wireless One? I recall Hybrid had an exclusive supplier agreement with them. I haven't followed the commercial market much the past year, did WorldCom buyout Wireless One? It appears they may have. If they did I wonder if WorldCom upgraded WIRL's existing wireless network to another MMDS supplier? Given the time and cost involved I believe that's highly unlikely. If WorldCom is 'rolling-out' it's wireless buildout in Memphis using existing or upgraded Hybrid equipment.... -whoa. Regards, -Andrew.
