Daw Technologies, Inc. Announces New $9.5 Million
Project in European Region

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Daw Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: DAWK - news) announced today that it
has been awarded a $9.5 million contract within the European Region. The contract will involve the design and construction of
approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of Class 1 cleanroom. The Company will provide a total system solution that includes the supply
and installation of floors, walls, ceilings and fan filter units. In addition, the Company will provide the HVAC ductwork, process
exhaust systems and some additional plant equipment. Detailed design work will commence immediately with the estimated
project completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2001.

Gary R. Matthews, Managing Director of Daw Technologies Europe LTD commented, ``We have remained focused on our
core business of providing Class 1 facilities for the worlds' leading semiconductor manufacturers, while continuing to diversify
our cleanroom construction business to provide our customers with all forms of controlled environments, specifically designed
to meet their manufacturing requirements.'' Mr. Matthews continued, ``The announcement of this new project is significant,
since it represents the first semiconductor ''Greenfield`` project awarded to the Company in over two years. The commitment
by our customer to invest in this new facility is a further indication that the semiconductor market recovery is well under way
and that our customers are now building new facilities in addition to expanding and upgrading their current facilities.''
