Status 08/14.

I've lost track of the number of times in the past two years that I almost moved at least some of my 401k equity to cash. As it turned out, I'm glad that I didn't. One day I will wish I had. lol Best of luck, Paul. I agree with Larry, as I think there is always something good to buy. In a correction, money rotates to other sectors. In a bear market, money leaves the market. We haven't had a bear market in a long time and I don't see one on the horizon. The difficulty with many employer sponsored 401k plans is that they don't normally offer enough choices to move money to other sectors. It's easy to do in your personal account though. I also agree with Larry that small and mid-caps are the place to be right now. The exception is when the large cap tech stocks have a big correction. I think that's the time to buy them for a trade.
