Thanks for the comments, Slacker. Like you mentioned KDDI still thinks that the game is "'tis the throughput, stupid"... However, hope that KDDI doesn't ignore the applications - i-mode/AOL/Playstation etc. over mobile data channels are "killer apps." - only techie nerds like myself would choose 64 or 153.6 or higher modems - most folks want Hello Kitty on their phones :-)
