Hi Junkyardawg; I bet that Intel can tell Infineon exactly what to do. When Intel yells jump, Infineon responds, "How high would you like that jump, sir?"

Intel has already shown its incredible clout with the memory makers by getting them to make RDRAM the most popular DRAM type memory in the world today, and selling for cheaper prices than SDRAM! Why I was reading just a few days ago (or was it a bit longer) that RDRAM accounts for more than 50% of DRAM production this year, and that Intel was going to make it happen.

It's so cool when an American company can tell the world how to do it right. Intel has kept an almost complete lock on the chipset market (except for the past 6 months), and now it is going to keep a lock on the memory and processor markets as well (except until a couple months after hell freezes over).
