dba Telecom Responds to CDNX Query
NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C. – At the request of the Canadian Venture Exchange, dba Telecom Corporation (CDNX: DBA) advises that there are no material changes in the company's operations that may have resulted in the increased trading activity.
Garry Hines, President and CEO of dba Telecom stated that the company is unaware of any internal reason for the recent increase in the value of dba shares. “We assume that the trading activity is a result of market fluctuation. There have been no material changes in the affairs of the company that have not been disclosed to the public,” Mr. Hines said. “We have not altered our business objectives, practices or vision and are currently preparing dba’s second quarter results.”
dba Telecom recently received an order totaling CDN $262,000 from T.G.L. Limited, dba Telecom’s distributor in the United Kingdom, and has announced its intention to release a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) version of its best selling SmarTalk phone in the New Year. The company is also currently negotiating a number of other transactions, none of which are at a stage that merit an announcement.
