I was surprised to see in the 2Q Form 10Q that under- utilisation of consulting was one of the causes of loss. In the previous quarter, revenues from consulting had dropped off and the CFO said this was because there had been a shortage of consulting staff but this had been put right in the 2Q with new hirings. It would seem that they did not have enough work for all the new staff in 2Q! Salaries are the biggest expense for NETP and if they have consulting staff on the books whose time is not 100% booked, then this is not good.
