WaveRider's LMS2000 to be Installed and Deployed as Part of $28M Agreement
WaveRider Communications WAVC0 , a leading global provider of wireless Internet access products, announced today that VoIP International S.A. de C.V. has placed its first order for WaveRider's LMS2000 wireless Internet access system to provide high speed communications service to its customers in Mexico.
VoIP's LMS2000 order is the company's latest move towards becoming a Wireless Internet Service Provider. The company has also purchased 50 LMS modems and NCL systems to enable rapid wireless deployment for its Internet customers and fast delivery to its corporate customers and other ISPs.

The LMS2000 and NCL orders fall under WaveRider's distribution agreement with VoIP which was established in March of this year. In July, WaveRider opened an office in Mexico City to manage sales and support activities, support its agreement with VoIP and expand its customer base. The new Mexico office is managed by Patrick Hall, WaveRider's Regional Sales Manager.
