Thread, you are ignoring the real issue. Clinton made a very effective and persuasive case against spending the surplus with the Bush tax cut. If the Tax cut takes place, Greenspan will respond by raising interest rates and the market will tank. You can't have it both ways. A tax stimulus is bad for the economy at a time of almost full employment. Go back and read your econ text books. Lets stick to the real issue. Lets pay down the debt and lower interest rates.
