Brazil: Dell Computer celebrates good performance

Dell Computer is celebrating its good performance in Brazil. The company started
operations in 1999, and is already the fourth major supplier of computers to
private, and public companies. In Brazil the computers market is led by Compaq
and Itautec. In November 1999 the company inaugurated an unit at Rio Grande do
Sul, and the prediction is to set up the second one until 2001. Until the end of
2000 year Dell plans to export to Mercosur countries. For 2005 year Dell plans
to conquer the leadership in the Brazilian PC market.
